The Armed Conflict Location and Event Dataset (ACLED) summarizes press reports on conflict and protest events in Africa and parts of Asia on a weekly basis (http://www.acleddata.com/about-acled/). The question will resolve as "yes" as soon as ACLED reports any events for which 'country' is Chad; 'event_date' falls in July 17, 2017 - July 20, 2017 (inclusive); 'event_type' is "Violence against civilians" or "Remote violence"; and 'fatalities' is greater than or equal to 1. Forecasting will close at midnight ET on July 20, 2017. To allow for data revisions, resolution and scoring will be based on data posted on [two update cycles after the end of time period].
