The Alternative for Germany (AfD) won no seats in the Bundestag in 2013 (Spiegel, BBC). Popularity may be rising (Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Telegraph). Germany is scheduled to hold federal elections in 2017 (Deutsche Welle).
